Day 7-10 Parts of the Mass Group Project

By the end of classes this week your group will complete a project dealing with a part of the Mass. It will be posted in Google Classroom by January 18th. You will have five class days to complete this project.

Each completed project will include the following elements:

  1. Create a professional-looking Google Site: Each group summarize what you have learned about the Mass on a professional looking Google Site. It must include the following:
  • 500-word summary article written by your group complete with in-text citations about your assigned topic.
  • Pictures that correspond with this part of the Mass.
  • Links to three videos that deal with your assigned topic.
  • Five excerpts from Church documents about your topic 
  • Five vocabulary words complete with definitions. 
  • Biography of one of the early Church Fathers or a Doctor of the Church who discusses the Mass.
  • A minimum of four books, articles, websites, movies, documentaries, music, or art that people can view to learn more about this part of the Mass. 
  1. Prepare a Presentation to Give to the Class: Each group will present to the class an 8-10 minute verbal presentation with no more than five Google slides. Each slide to have one picture and a maximum of four bullet points. Each member of the group must present a portion of the verbal presentation.

Other Catholic Websites and books that discuss the Mass can be used with the permission of the instructor.
